We built FindThatThing to be useful without tracking you. Here's exactly what that means.

What stays on your phone or computer

A few things are remembered on your own device so the site feels personal next time you visit:

• Your dark or light mode choice
• Products you tap Save
• Products you've recently viewed
• Your last few searches

This information never leaves your device. We can't see it, and clearing your browser data wipes it.

What we count

We count anonymous activity so we know which pages and products people are finding useful. That's it:

• Which pages get visits
• Which searches return no result (so we can fix the gap)
• Which buy-buttons get clicked

None of this is tied to a name, an email, or any way to identify you personally.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or share your data with anyone
• We don't run third-party advertising trackers
• We don't show ads
• We don't ask for an account, email, or phone number
• We don't use marketing pixels of any kind
