What we send, and how to stop it.
What we send
Exactly one thing: when a product you asked us to findgoes live on the site. That's it.
No marketing. No new-arrival blasts. No “come back and see what's new”. If you never request a product, we will never send you anything.
On Android
If you installed the app: press and hold the FindThatThing icon → App info → Notifications → turn off.
If you use it in the browser: Chrome → ⋮ → Settings → Site settings → Notifications → find findthatthing.shop → Block.
On iPhone
Settings → Notifications → FindThatThing → turn off Allow Notifications.
On iPhone, notifications only work at all if you added the site to your Home Screen. In a normal Safari tab there is nothing to turn off.
On a computer
Click the padlock or icon to the left of the address bar → Site settings → set Notifications to Block.
Turning them off doesn't affect your request — we'll still add the product. You just won't get a nudge about it.
