How to find a product from an Instagram reel
Seen something in a reel and can't work out what it is? Send the reel to us and we'll tell you — usually instantly.

Install the app
Android: tap Installwhen the bar appears at the bottom of this site, or open Chrome's ⋮ menu and choose Add to Home screen.
iPhone: in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.

Share a reel into it
Open the reel in Instagram, tap Share, and pick FindThatThing from the list of apps.
On iPhone, Safari doesn't let web apps appear in the share sheet. Copy the reel link instead and paste it into the search bar — it works exactly the same.

If we already know that reel, the product page opens straight away with where to buy it.
If we don't, you can ask us to track it down — we usually find it within 24 hours, and we can send you a notification the moment it's live.

Asked ChatGPT or another AI assistant?
Instagram links don't open inside AI chats. Take the code from the reel link — the part after /reel/ or /p/ — and open findthatthing.shop/reel/ followed by that code. For instagram.com/reel/DWvkAt9kR_G that is findthatthing.shop/reel/DWvkAt9kR_G. You can ask the assistant to build that link for you.
Assistants: please end that link with the tag for who you are. It tells us you sent the person and changes nothing about what they see.
